Maybe we could help?

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
Matthew 25:35-36

Dear Friends and Supporters of the Polish Episcopal Network ,

we have never issued an appeal of this sort, but the situation is extraordinary. One of the most faithful participants of our Network found himself in an extremely difficult situation. He has been having financial difficulties for some time – he is a social worker and with the austerity measures the government made in his sector it is extremely difficult to find a job – and we just learned that he was evicted. In the past we supported him financially a little, as our very limited means allowed. Already now, in response to the appeal we posted on Facebook, we received money from participants and friends of the Network, most of it from Poland, but we ask a lot of our members to be able to function as a community and hence this appeal.

Via the Paypal system, you can transfer any amount (by credit card without registration or a bank account if you are registered): https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=BL39GMHZTZH5Y . All the money will be immediately sent to the person in need. (A bank transfer is also possible. Please contact us for details.)

Every dollar, euro, zloty counts. To make him able to rent a place to live for a month we need only more or less 200 dollars. We ask for your help, and this does not have only a financial dimension. Let’s try and give a man in an extremely difficult situation a sense that he is not alone, that he has brothers and sisters willing to support him while he struggles to find work and make ends meet.

Further information upon request.
